Key management personnel
The key management personnel of the academy trust comprise the trustees and the senior management team as listed on page 1. The total amount of employee benefits (including employer pension contributions and employer national insurance contributions) received by key management personnel for their services to the academy trust was £326,287 (2018: £250,023).
Trustees' remuneration and expenses
During the year ended 31 August 2019, no trustees received any remuneration or other benefits from an employment with the Trust (2018: £nil).
Expenses totalling £758 were paid to 4 trustees in respect of travel and subsistence (2018: £1,626 - 5 trustees).
Trustees and officers insurance
In accordance with normal commercial practice, the academy trust has purchased insurance to protect trustees and officers from claims arising from negligent acts, errors or omissions occurring whilst on academy trust business. The insurance provides cover up to £10,000,000 on any one claim. The cover is provided by the Trust's membership of the RPA scheme and the individual cost relating the the Trustees cannot be reliably quantified. The cost of this insurance is included in the total insurance cost.
